Digitain is building up its strength in the Bulgarian iGaming market after securing both manufacturer and importer licences from the country’s gambling regulator.
The manufacturer licence will allow the provider to supply its in-house developed products to operators licensed in Bulgaria, which are fully certified and tailored for the region.
Meanwhile, the importer licence will permit Digitain to provide certified third-party products in the Bulgarian market.
Digitain noted that the licences highlight “its commitment to regulatory excellence and partner-centric growth, ensuring that operators targeting Bulgaria have access to a comprehensive suite of compliant and high-quality solutions”.
Arshak Muradyan, Group Chief Compliance Officer at Digitain, commented: “Securing both licences in Bulgaria is an important step in strengthening our presence in regulated markets.
“It allows us to deliver both our in-house solutions and a wide range of certified third-party products in full compliance with local requirements. This dual capability ensures that our partners can confidently operate and scale in the Bulgarian market with a reliable and fully compliant product offering.”
European growth
Digitain has been growing its presence in European markets over the last 12 months, securing a partnership with KingCasino in Romania to supply its sportsbook solution and its Centrivo iGaming platform to the operator.
The company has also previously praised its presence in Malta for the advancement of its European growth strategy, where it has opened a new office in the past year.
Aida Vardanyan, Chief Executive Officer at Digitain Malta, said: “Our Malta office is more than just a location—it’s a strategic hub for our European operations.
“It helps us stay closely connected with our European partners, better understand local needs, and provide more responsive support. Being based here allows us to build stronger relationships and deliver on our long-term vision of enhanced regional partnerships.”
