Pragmatic Play has unveiled Money Time, expanding the developers live casino portfolio and tapping into the growth of game show engagement.
At the centre of the game show title is a 54-segment wheel where players can hit multipliers of up to x10 or trigger one of four bonus games. A random booster also lights up one bet spot during each spin to enhance wins by up to x50.
Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Play, commented: “Money Time delivers a thrilling, content-rich game show experience loaded with dynamic features and the potential to win up to a whopping 40,000x. Set in a stunning, purpose-built studio and brought to life by captivating hosts, it showcases live casino entertainment at its very best.”
The four bonus games on offer for players are cash roll, coin rush, bank heist and money time, each of which offer the chance to win enhanced prizes ranging from x5000 to x40,000.
“We’re excited to bring this standout title to our partners and we’re confident it will resonate strongly with their players,” added Cornides.
Money Time continues Pragmatic’s focus on live casino games, joining the likes of Sweet Bonanza, CandyLand, Mega Wheel and Fortune Roulette.
It’s a move that builds on the continued evolution of game shows, bridging the gap between slots engagement and live casino.
Pragmatic step away from US sweeps
Earlier this month, Pragmatic Play chose to stop supplying its games to US sweepstakes operators, citing “regulatory developments and evolving legislation”.
The decision was taken after the supplier was dragged into a legal challenge of Stake.us’ operations in California alongside the likes of Evolution – which has also discontinued supplying its content to Stake.us in California.
The sector was dealt a further blow in the Golden State as legislators passed a bill criminalising sweepstakes, which is now awaiting the signature of Governor Gavin Newsom.
If signed, California would join Connecticut, Montana, Nevada and New Jersey in bringing in similar measures.
