SOFTSWISS has hailed the early success of its recently implemented referral system.
According to the iGaming technology provider, its operator partners have acquired over 6,000 players in the first month since launch, while reducing acquisition costs by over €1m.
The system is built into SOFTSWISS’s casino platform and allows players to generate a referral code to share with others in return for earning a bonus set out by the operator.
Suren Vardanyan, Head of Sales at SOFTSWISS Casino Platform, commented: “For operators, the value goes beyond cost savings. Referrals add an effective word-of-mouth channel that works alongside existing marketing. A player who joins on a friend’s recommendation already trusts the brand and is more likely to stay and deposit.”
SOFTSWISS emphasised that operators set out their own reward conditions, such as bonus amounts for registration and deposit and wagering requirements.
In the most successful example, an operator generated up to 6% of total site traffic through referrals alone.
SOFTSWISS has a need for speed
Earlier this week, the company confirmed that Formula 1 legend Rubens Barrichello will continue as the company’s Non-Executive Director in Latin America – building on a partnership that began in 2024.
At the time, Brazil was preparing to open its regulated online gaming market and SOFTSWISS sought to use the Brazilian’s popularity to boost its presence across the country.
SOFTSWISS noted that since the beginning of the pair’s relationship, it has enhanced its presence in Brazil from one representative to a dedicated team. Meanwhile, total bets and GGR in Brazil have grown by 65% and 64%, respectively, from Q1 2025 to Q1 2026.
Looking ahead to the next year of partnership, SOFTSWISS said that it is focused on improving its speed to deliver solutions and also improve productivity.
