Reels.io has launched a ‘Scroll & Play’ lobby feature developed by Vegangster.

The lobby allows players on the crypto casino to browse through a continuous video feed of short, autoplaying previews which offer a look at gameplay before launch.

Designed to meet shifting player preferences in iGaming, Reels.io has noted that since its rollout, users have spent more time exploring new releases through the feed, and games featured in the ‘Scroll & Play’ feed are being launched more often.

Michael Oziransky, Chief Product Officer at Vegangster, said: “Scroll & Play fits naturally into how players already use digital content. There is almost no learning curve; the format feels familiar from the first scroll, which is why adoption on Reels.io happened so quickly.”

Alongside game discovery, the feed can also be used to display promotions and feature upcoming tournaments, in-casino events and limited-time campaigns.

The use of ‘Scroll & Play’ forms just one part of a broader collaboration between Reels.io and Vegangster. The crypto casino also utilises stories, which replace static text tutorials and lootboxes, which, like in video games, offer players randomised rewards to boost player engagement.

The future of iGaming

Earlier this month, Oziransky sat down with iGaming Expert to take a look at the future of iGaming, including how the company is taking advantage of artificial intelligence.

He explained: “Any process that was done manually should be reviewed and optimised using AI. What LLM brings is basically working with a lot of unstructured data, and being able to understand it, structure it, and then create the workflows.

“Our main focus for the near future is going to be reimagining the AI assistant for the operator that doesn’t only focus on things like CRM campaigns, [but also] what’s called agents: workflows with integrated LLM.

“You need to have a business view and look at the data. Some tasks will be related to retention, but some to anti-fraud, VIP management, and so on.”

Although Oziransky was clear that AI automation is the future, some aspects still require a human touch, which includes VIP support.

“This aspect is super tailored, with a very personal connection to the player, and not just a workflow,” he added.
