Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has notified markets of its return to earnings accrued from operations following its corporate transformation completed in 2024.
The statement headlines GiG’s Q2 2025 trading update, issued ahead of the group publishing its interim results on Thursday 28 August.
Improved trading sees GiG project Q2 revenue guidance of €9.3m, up 27% on Q2 2024 comparatives of €7.3m.
The period marks a notable turnaround in profitability, with the Nasdaq North iGaming technology group delivering a €2.8m swing in operating income, to record EBITDA of €1m (Q2 2024: loss of €1.8m). EBIT improved by €3.1m to a loss of €3.7m.
Q2 2025 comparatives are set against a transformative year in 2024, during which GiG incurred significant structural and advisory costs related to its corporate reorganisation. This included the strategic separation of its core Technology business (GiG) from its Media Services unit, which was spun off to form Gentoo Media as an independent company.
Operationally, GiG achieved three client platform launches during the quarter, including a key expansion in the Philippines. The group also signed three new Heads of Terms and secured four additional managed services agreements, reinforcing its future revenue pipeline.
As of 30 June 2025, the group reported a cash balance of €4.3m, excluding a further €4.7m in proceeds from a directed share issue received in July. Management underlined that the strengthened balance sheet will support new market entries and long-term product investment.
CEO Richard Carter reflected on the company’s momentum, stating: “I am pleased to report continued strong growth throughout the quarter, underpinned by successful launches and a solid underlying performance by our established current customer base.
“We look forward to continuing this positive financial and operational momentum across the remainder of 2025 and beyond.
GiG’s trading update underscores the scalability of its B2B platform model, with growing annual recurring revenues (ARR) and strategic launches forming the bedrock of its long-term growth trajectory.
