Midnite has announced a credit financing deal worth up to $100m as investors back its path to become the UK’s next tier-1 iGaming brand.

The revolving credit facility will be provided by the House Advantage Fund, a dedicated user acquisition financing offer designed by seed investor Discerning Capital and Singapore based fund PvX Capital.

Discerning Capital previously led Midnite’s Series B funding round that raised $10m, at the start of the year.

According to Midnite, the $100m facility will allow the company to build a cash reserve that can be used strategically to invest in growth initiatives such as accelerated hiring and product development.

“This partnership allows us to triple down on both performance and brand marketing campaigns, while preserving cash for innovation and expansion,” emphasised Midnite’s CEO, Nicholas Wright.

“The flexibility of the House Advantage structure means we can pursue our long-term strategy with greater conviction and fewer trade-offs.”

As mentioned, Discerning Capital has served as an early-backer of Midnite, the challenger brand founded in 2018 by Wright and Daniel Qu.

The strategy of the House Advantage Fund is designed for ‘hyper-growth’ gaming enterprises to access deeper financing without the need for equity dilution that can hinder the valuation of start-ups and challengers.

Davis Catlin, Managing Partner at Discerning Capital, explained: “For too long, the growth trajectory of online wagering operators has been constrained by the limitations of traditional venture capital or credit, which is hard to obtain across the broader gaming ecosystem.

“By tying capital deployment to actual marketing performance, we unlock sustainable, aggressive scale without forcing operators into unnecessary equity dilution or onerous repayment structures. This credit facility for Midnite sets a new benchmark for how ambitious firms in our sector can finance growth.”

Making waves in the UK

Midnite has chosen to take on what many see as a saturated UK market, and the operators Casino Manager, Chelsea Pinho, previously detailed to iGaming Expert how the company plans to achieve growth in the sector.

Pinho emphasised that the company intends to bring new experiences desired by UK players who want “a more modern journey”.

“We are taking strategic risks, focusing on the new players and not looking back on legacy products like everyone else,”  revealed Pinho, who praised the operator’s player-first strategy within the market.

“We’re already seeing the appetite from players. There’s hunger in the market for something fresh, something different. That’s what makes tier one realistic for us: there’s genuine demand, not just ambition.”

Pinho also stated the importance of analysing effective user experiences across other industries, particularly looking at Netflix and the elevated levels of personalisation that the platform brings to viewers.

Midnite secured further brand exposure through the signing of its its first UK sports sponsorship deals, becoming the front-of-shirt partner of Sheffield United and official training kit partner of Sheffield United and Southampton FC.
