ELA Games has made a new addition to its leadership team, naming Marharyta Yerina as Managing Director.
Yerina’s appointment adds over 12 years of experience in finance and operations to the iGaming software development studio.
She joins ELA Games after working as Head of Finance and as Chief Financial Officer over the past four years at another online casino supplier, Evoplay.
“Joining ELA Games, a rapidly growing and dynamic company in iGaming, is an exciting prospect for me as I anticipate having a key role in its development,” stated Yerina regarding her new role.
“I look forward to using my expertise and knowledge to help make meaningful operational changes to see the company realise its potential and maintain its positive growth trajectory.”
Back in March, on the latest Beyond the Reels episode, David Fall, ELA Games’ Business Development Manager, talked about the studio’s gaming title that features a retro arcade twist, Cash Crab.
Speaking to iGamingExpert, Fall explained how ELA’s move to a new office that was once an arcade hall inspired the title.
Fall said: “It had lots of arcade machines, and the owner decided to create something instead of wasting such an opportunity. The principle was to create a nostalgic experience for players, [and they can] have a sense of familiarity and nostalgia while playing this game.
“It took two years to develop. It seems like a simple process just to get the little camera and joystick but it was a very complicated process for turning it into an online-based game.”
On 17 April, ELA Games’ Senior Business Development Manager, Yaroslav Soloshenko, will be taking part in a panel at the upcoming SBC Digital Casino event.
The panel, titled ‘Boosting the appeal of live casino to next-gen players’, will discuss how to acquire and retain players through live casino products.
Soloshenko will be featured on the panel with Head of Casino at Rivalo, Lourdes Lopez, and Global SEO Lead at Betsson Group, Silvia Tavella.
