A BetVictor player has landed a prize of almost half a million pounds through ThrillTech’s community jackpot scheme.

In total, 501 players shared a near £1m prize fund across BV Group’s brands, including BetVictor, Heart Bingo, Smooth Spins, Betano, Parimatch and TalkSPORTBET.

Players opt in to take part in the Epic Community Jackpot, which distributes half of the fund to the main winner, with the rest of the fund shared across the contributing players.

£488,035.59 was paid out to the main winner, in what ThrillTech described as a first for the UK. The 500 contributing players received £976.07 each.

Peter Mareš, Chief Technical Officer at ThrillTech, commented: “This is the first community jackpot of its kind in the UK, enabling operators to reward hundreds or even thousands of players with a single jackpot instead of just one.

“Distributing these payouts at scale requires absolute precision. Our robust technology effortlessly handles the complex mathematics and has advanced protocols in place to ensure that all payouts are delivered exactly as intended.”

According to ThrillTech, the UK result follows hot on the heels of a BVGroup player winning over £1.5m through a ThrillPots-powered jackpot.

Meanwhile, the jackpot technology provider has also recently inked a new global partnership with Super to integrate its ThrillPots side-bet jackpots across the company’s online gaming brands across Europe and Latin America, beginning with the NapoleOINK jackpot for Napoleon Casino in Belgium.

Speaking at the time of the announcement, Benjamin Bradtke, Co-Founder of ThrillTech, described the partnership as a ’massive milestone’ for the company.

He added: “Launching ThrillPots initially with Napoleon in Belgium perfectly demonstrates the global scalability of our solution. We look forward to seeing the measurable engagement and revenues our player-funded jackpots will drive for Super’s.”
