In iGaming, speed is expected. What sets winners apart is structure. And for Growe Partners, performance isn’t luck — it’s the result of clear thinking, fast action, and systems that don’t break under pressure. Dmytro Mariievskyi, Head of Growe Partners, talks with iGaming Expert and shares his thoughts on leadership, growth, and how building the right team culture turns challenges into strategy.
iGaming Expert: The affiliate space is highly competitive. What does high performance look like to you?
Dmytro Mariievskyi: For Growe Partners, high performance always starts with thinking first. We never act without analysis. It’s not a separate step; it runs alongside everything we do. The ability to pause, assess, and plan is something we never skip.
Performance isn’t just about profit. It’s about predictability, stability, and the potential to grow at scale. That only happens when there’s clarity in the funnel, in the data, and in the goals.
We don’t chase traffic blindly. We work with partners who understand their value and want to scale strategically.
Quick wins aren’t our story. We’re here to build long-term partnerships. We’re open to flexibility when it makes sense, but we expect the same level of loyalty and strategic thinking in return.
High performance is when you can clearly explain why something worked and repeat it. Success for us is never accidental. It comes from consistent, well-planned actions and a systematic approach.
Some teams hope for ROI. We engineer it. We don’t operate on wishful thinking. We set clear goals and aim to predict results before the campaign even launches. That’s what performance means to us.
iGX: How do you balance immediate performance targets with long-term vision?
DM: We plan in layers. There’s what we do this week, what we focus on this quarter, and what we’re building over the next year or more. Each layer serves a purpose, and the goal is to make sure they all support each other.
Short-term results offer fast feedback, but we never let them distract from the bigger picture. This means constantly checking whether an outcome is just a quick win or contributes to long-term direction.
Data helps us stay grounded. It gives us clarity on what’s really working and helps avoid the temptation to chase hype or vanity metrics. Just because something looks good on the surface doesn’t mean it’s the right move long-term.
We also put a lot of effort into making sure the whole team sees both the now and the next. Hitting today’s targets matters — but only if they align with our long-term direction. When people see that full picture, they make better decisions and feel more ownership.
For Growe Partners, long-term vision isn’t just a dream or a slide in a presentation. It’s a real plan — and we’re already building it in everything we do day to day.
iGX: In fast-moving industries like iGaming, challenges are constant. What’s been your approach to turning them into opportunities?
DM: Adaptability is one of our core principles. Growe Partners is constantly adjusting not just to the market but even to ourselves in this market, because in our niche, if you are just going with the flow, you lose. The goal is to stay relevant and high-performing no matter how the industry shifts.
We build the team like a system that delivers results efficiently. We plan ahead to prevent burnout or conflict, because if they happen, it means the system isn’t optimized. A strong system brings results without harming the people inside it.
People are at the core of everything. They are the ones who bring results. But if the result isn’t there, it’s a sign that something in the system needs to be adjusted. Our goal is to build a setup that works both for the company and for the team.
We treat challenges as signals. The root cause is usually where the growth point lies.
Flexibility is built into how we operate — it allows us to move fast and stay focused. But we also believe in structure. Defined roles, streamlined processes, and clear goals help us adapt without chaos.
Transparency also plays a big role, but only when it’s mutual. We make our processes and logic clear to the team, and in return, we expect the same openness. That’s the only way it truly works.
Finally, we rely on data. We measure not just outcomes but everything we learn in the process. Even mistakes become valuable input as we turn them into lessons and move forward stronger.
iGX: How did your decision to restructure the team help unlock new opportunities for growth?
DM: The restructuring wasn’t a reaction to problems. It was a step forward, aligned with our long-term goals. As we grow, staying sharp means regularly checking how the system runs — and how it could run better. No structure is ever perfect, but our aim is to get as close as possible. When we see something that could become a bottleneck, we act immediately and ahead of time.
This decision helped Growe Partners align the team structure with the scale we’re moving toward. It clarified roles, strengthened responsibility, and made our decision-making faster and more focused. We shifted energy from day-to-day operational friction to strategic execution.
We already see results. And we believe that when systems are well-designed, there’s no need to be afraid of making bold moves. It’s part of natural growth. It’s more like ongoing maintenance than waiting for something to break. You don’t wait for the engine to fail — you change the oil regularly, check the brakes, and do inspections so everything keeps working.
That’s how we see restructuring. Not as a risk, but as a way to stay effective and ready for the next stage.
iGX: What are some of the most important shifts you’ve made as a leader during this time?
DM: One of the key shifts was learning that clarity doesn’t look the same for everyone. We’ve always valued clear goals, expectations, and feedback, but we also realized that just having structure isn’t enough. You have to adjust it to how different people think and work. Sometimes the system needs to evolve too.
Another shift was learning to rely more on the system we have built. Not by stepping away completely, but by giving it space to function before stepping in. As a leader, it can be tempting to solve things yourself, but long-term growth means letting others find their own approaches — even if they differ from yours.
Soft skills became more important than hard skills. You can teach someone the technical side, but things like communication, responsibility, and self-awareness are what define strong teams.
And trust is a big one. You need to trust the team, but not just based on hope – it should be backed by results. That’s when it becomes meaningful and drives progress.
iGX: What kind of culture are you aiming to build within your team as it grows?
DM: At Growe Partners, we’re building a culture where people take full ownership of what they do. It’s not about waiting for instructions — it’s about identifying challenges, grasping their impact, and stepping up to solve them. The mindset we expect is simple: look for solutions, not excuses.
This culture is deeply rooted in results. Everyone is encouraged to think in terms of outcomes — to take responsibility and drive progress. That sense of ownership supports the bigger picture: it’s not just about completing tasks, but seeing the full picture and acting with purpose. That’s what fuels our growth as a team and helps us scale what truly delivers.
Clarity matters. Everyone should understand their role, their goals, and how their work fits into the bigger picture. That’s how we avoid chaos and keep the team moving in the same direction.
We care about results more than hierarchy because it’s not the titles that drive performance. Feedback is part of everyday work, and improvement is expected from everyone, including leadership.
Speed is important, but only when paired with clear thinking. We hire people who are curious, proactive, and serious about growing with the company; not just doing the job, but taking part in shaping what comes next.
iGX: Looking ahead, what are your key priorities for the affiliate team in the next 6–12 months?
DM: Our focus is on growth. Not just in numbers, but in structure, expertise, and the way we scale what we know works.
We’re refining our setup to stay ahead of the curve, not just keep up with the market. That includes doubling down on proven traffic sources and deepening our presence in geos where we see strong, consistent results.
Top-tier partnerships are a priority. We know what we bring to the table: performance, transparency, and smart systems. Our aim is to make collaboration even sharper through tailored support and better data.
We’re also investing in the team. Growing internal expertise helps us move faster across different verticals and handle complexity efficiently. Alongside that, we’re improving tools that help partners make decisions quicker and with more confidence.
And most importantly, we’re focused on building systems that create repeatable, scalable growth — not one-off wins, but consistent performance.
For Growe Partners, growth isn’t just a goal. It’s a system we’ve built, and we’re scaling it with intention.
iGX: What would you say to affiliate professionals or partners watching your team from the outside?
DM: We don’t follow playbooks — we build our own.
We move fast, stay sharp, and don’t waste time on noise.
If you’re watching us from the outside, keep watching. And if you’re with us, we grow together.
