3 Oaks Gaming has been incredibly active throughout 2025, obtaining new licences and entering regulated markets as a core part of its long term strategy. From Europe to Brazil, the studio has entered several new markets in 2025 and doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

Speaking to iGaming Expert live at SBC Summit 2025, 3 Oaks Gaming’s Head of Sales Krasimir Pankovski outlines exactly what this strategy entails and how it aims to move forward.

Pankovski also talks about what makes the studio’s content stand out from the crowd in saturated markets, pointing towards innovative features and classic themes.

iGaming Expert: Tell us about 3 Oaks new licenses this year – where have you expanded to?

Krasimir Pankovski: 2025 has been a very busy year for us here at 3 Oaks Gaming. We have expanded into various regulated markets, starting in January with Brazil. Throughout the year, we have added Romania and the UK to our portfolio alongside the Netherlands. We are going into even more regulated markets like Greece and Bulgaria as part of our carefully laid out roadmap

iGX: Why have you chosen to enter these new markets and why is 2025 the right time to enact this strategy?

KP: Well, Brazil chronologically made a lot of sense because the newly regulated market opened on January 1.

In terms of the other markets, they are all part of our long-term strategy that we have been building. We are focusing on penetrating additional regulated markets but I wouldn’t say that this year was chosen specifically for this. We have a strategy that is built not on any specific year of superstition.

We want to expand as much as we can but at the same time we want to keep a sensible balance. We cannot just jump into 10s of markets at the same time give them all the love and attention they need. The value of the product and the value that customers are receiving is the most important thing for us as a company. So this year was super busy but I would say that next might be even busier and we are expanding our teams to maintain and perform at the right level in our current markets and those which are to come.

iGX: How does 3 Oaks Gaming diversify its content to ensure players enjoy fresh and engaging titles across these markets?

KP: At 3 Oaks, we are working hard to diversify and launch additional game families. We were one of the first companies to introduce Hold and Win to online gaming so we are super strong in that category.

But we believe that you cannot just be focused on one element, because players like different flavours. They have different understandings, so we try to introduce new game types while maintaining the same quality as we do with Hold and Win games.

We now have 14 game types including Holding Pods, Scatterpays, Hit the bonus, Three by Three and more.

iGX: As well as new licenses 3 Oaks has released plenty of new games this year – what are the pick of these new releases and which games are performing best with players?

KP: We now have the resources to release around three games per month, which is a big step up. We have enough resources and studio space to cover this now. We are focusing a lot on new content and as a result, around 30-40% of our top performing games are our new releases. In that sense we aren’t just competing with other studios, but with ourselves too.

We released a new version of Lucky Penny recently because players loved the original game. We expanded it in terms of features and introduced new ones

We introduced Must Drop Jackpot to develop additional engagement to the classic three-by-three fruit games. We are aware that players have their individual preferences and that’s why we decided to spice up a classic slot with extra awards.

iGX: Promotional tools are becoming ever more popular for enhanced player engagement and loyalty. How does 3 Oaks plan to tap into these products?

KP: In terms of promo tools, I would say that we have the whole Ferrari! We have Lucky

Drops, Flip to Win, all the key elements for game tournaments. We have a flexible tournament duration with variable price pools to attract players with the simplicity of the tournaments.

iGX: After a big push in 2025 for new markets and products, what is next for 3 Oaks Gaming? Are there new markets and products in the pipeline?

KP: We want to grow more. We are growing fast at the moment, faster than the average growth of the industry which is a very good sign. But we want to look more at further regulated markets. We have plans to expand into the Balkan markets and more western European jurisdictions too.

We have a really strong roadmap next year including Gibraltar, Argentina and the Philippines. We are also looking at Ontario too. For now, the key is not only looking at new markets but also maintaining our presence and strengthening our position in our existing markets to achieve our goals.
