Yurii Muratov, CCO at 3 Oaks Gaming, chats about the game supplier’s continuing expansion across regulated markets in 2025. From the UK to Brazil, Muratov states that 3 Oaks is ready to make a splash across many regulated markets.

iGaming Expert: 2025 has been a busy year for 3 Oaks as you have gained new certifications in new markets – why is now the right time to enter these new jurisdictions?

Yurii Muratov: 2025 has indeed been a milestone year for 3 Oaks Gaming, and the timing for entering new jurisdictions is driven by a combination of our strategic readiness and favourable market conditions for us.

More jurisdictions are embracing clear frameworks for gaming and content licensing, which creates a stable and transparent environment for us to operate in. We’ve aligned all our certifications and compliance processes to these evolving standards to meet market requirements. Over the past year, we’ve invested in compliance infrastructure and team growth. These investments mean we can do so efficiently and sustainably, maintaining the same level of quality and responsiveness across all regions.

Our portfolio of games demonstrates consistent success in existing markets that provides a strong foundation to expand into new territories to satisfy players with high-quality and engaging content like “3 Hot Chillies”, “Sun of Egypt 4”, “Coin Up” titles. Besides this, entering these jurisdictions now allows us to support our existing partners’ expansion goals while forging new relationships with operators in these regions. Thus, we are entering these new jurisdictions not just to expand, but to lead.

iGX: The UK and Italy are two of Europe’s biggest markets so what can 3 Oaks bring to the table in these countries to freshen things up for players?

YM: For 3 Oaks gaming, entering these regions is not just about presence, it is about bringing something fresh, exciting, and differentiated.

Our game portfolio emphasizes impressive themes and innovative mechanics that blend familiarity with innovation. In markets like the UK and Italy, where players have seen it all, we stand out by delivering experiences that feel both premium and unexpected.

Many players in these markets are looking for something different from traditional slot games and we provide them with slots with a dynamic gamification, high-volatility and feature-buy options. All our titles are fully certified and built with regulatory requirements at their core. We are constantly evolving our features to balance compliance with creativity, ensuring players get a safe and impressive experience.

iGX: Brazil is a new market but is also anticipated to be one of the world’s biggest. How has the opening few months of this market been for 3 Oaks and what has the reality been like compared to your expectations?

YM: The Brazilian market is dynamic, fast-moving, and full of potential. While the regulatory framework is still evolving, we’ve been able to navigate it effectively thanks to our prior experience in other regulated markets. For these months our games received excellent traction, especially those with vibrant visuals, engaging bonus mechanics, and mobile-first performance. Brazil has exceeded our expectations in terms of player response, speed to market, and partnership opportunities.

Local flavor matters, whether through themes, music, or features that align with cultural expectations. And we are already incorporating those insights into future game development.

Honestly, we were pleasantly surprised by how open and collaborative operators are looking for new, high-quality content, and we’ve quickly established strong partnerships with key platforms. Our adaptability and flexible integration capabilities have helped us move quickly and deliver value.

iGX: You have also gained approval to enter Romania and Greece this year. What makes these jurisdictions so appealing to 3 Oaks and what is your strategy for them?

YM: Gaining approval to enter Romania and Greece is a key part of our 2025 growth strategy, and both jurisdictions present unique, high-potential opportunities for 3 Oaks Gaming. Our company is fully aligned with ONJN and HGC regulations from day one.

Romania has a well-defined and operator-friendly regulatory environment that gives suppliers like us a solid foundation to grow. Also, Romania is a dynamic market with a strong demand for slot content and games with engaging bonus mechanics and volatility. It`s giving us the chance to engage a growing player base with fresh, differentiated content like “lucky Penny”, “More Magic Apple”, and “Coin Volcano”.

 Greece has a long gaming history, but the newly restructured iGaming market is now welcoming modern content and new providers. Many local operators are actively looking for distinctive slot portfolios to differentiate themselves. The stable regulatory landscape aligns well with our commitment to compliance and responsible gaming.

At 3 Oaks we are tailoring our portfolio with regional preferences in mind. We are trying to develop themes and visuals that reflect cultural tastes, ensuring players feel a stronger connection to our titles. Offering promotional tools, API flexibility, and marketing support to help partners boost acquisition and retention.

YM: At the SBC Summit Malta, 3 Oaks Gaming will be not just showcasing games, we will showcase what is next in iGaming. Our company will demonstrate the newest and the most innovative titles like “Power Sun”, “3 Hot Teapots”, “3 Super Hot Chillies”, and “Space Coins”.

With recent certifications in the UK, Italy, Greece, Romania and Brazil, we’ll be highlighting how our games are localized to meet player preferences in each region to provide maximum impact in diverse player markets.

Our commercial team will be on-site and be ready to discuss new business opportunities and regional expansion strategies. We look forward to connecting, collaborating, and creating new opportunities in Malta this June.

iGX: Can we expect to hear about 3 Oaks entering more new markets later this year? What does the roadmap look like moving forward?

YM: Absolutely! Market expansion remains a core pillar of our growth strategy, and the roadmap ahead is both ambitious and exciting. But it’s not just about expansion, it’s also about smart, strategic growth. Every new jurisdiction we enter is part of a bigger vision to become a global content powerhouse, delivering top-performing games and long-term value for partners across regulated markets worldwide.

We are actively progressing toward certification in several new jurisdictions like the Netherlands and Spain. Following a strong start in Brazil, we’re looking to expand into other key LatAm markets like Colombia and Peru are high on our radar.

As emerging Asian and African markets begin to define their regulatory frameworks, we’re exploring how our scalable infrastructure and agile development can bring value to those regions too. Apart from our presence in South Africa we are taking a closer look at Kenya and Nigeria, anticipating 3 Oaks ‘expansion on these markers as well.
