Evolution has introduced Ezugi as its second live dealer brand for the US market.
Games from Ezugi’s portfolio, including EX Baccarat and Ultimate Auto Roulette, are now live in New Jersey, streaming from Evolution’s Atlantic City studio.
According to Evolution, it also plans to expand the Ezugi offering into a new studio in Michigan, which is scheduled to go live in the first half of 2026.
The studio, situated in Grand Rapids, will be home to both Evolution and Ezugi live titles, including Ezugi’s Ultimate Roulette and 000 Roulette.
Jacob Claesson, Chief Executive Officer of North America at Evolution, commented: “Introducing Ezugi as our second live casino brand in the US is an important step in our North American growth strategy. Ezugi’s distinctive portfolio complements Evolution’s world-leading game shows and live casino range.”
Capitalising on an untapped market
Evolution completed the acquisition of Ezugi in 2019 for an initial consideration of $12m, as the company sought to increase its geographic footprint and accelerate growth in key markets.
At the time of the announcement, Ezugi held a presence in New Jersey and Oklahoma, as well as markets across Europe, Latin America and South Africa.
Introducing Ezugi as its second live dealer brand fulfils Evolution’s stated goal of boosting growth across its live casino offering in 2025 and tapping into the potential of the vertical in the US.
Speaking to SBC Americas in May, Claesson said: “We are prioritising the introduction of new games and formats, with a clear goal of establishing our sister brand, Ezugi, as the number two live dealer provider in the US.
“In the U.S., live dealer gaming still represents a new experience for many players, so education and engagement are central to our approach. Our live game shows, hosted by professional presenters, are designed to be just as entertaining to watch as they are to play.”
