Wazdan has advanced its presence in Europe through a partnership with win2day.

Through the agreement, Wazdan will integrate its range of titles into win2day’s platform – Austria’s lone online casino operator. Among the initial titles set to be rolled out to players in Austria are 9 Coins, Hot Slot: 777 Cash Out and Might Wild: Panther.

Georg Wawer, Managing Director of win2day, said: “As Austria’s only licensed online gaming operator, win2day is committed to offering players a carefully curated portfolio of high-quality and fully compliant games.

“With Wazdan, we are partnering with an experienced developer known for its innovative mechanics and strong technical capabilities. The collaboration will allow us to combine engaging gameplay with the highest levels of safety and responsibility, further enriching the variety and quality of entertainment available on win2day.”

According to Wazdan, an extra title will be added each month to win2day’s platform.

The developer holds a strong presence across Europe and is licensed to supply major markets such as the UK, Sweden and Greece. By gaining a foothold in Austria, Wazdan has expanded into one of the last remaining markets in Europe to operate under a single operator model.

Andrzej Hyla, Chief Commercial Officer at Wazdan, said: “Entering the Austrian market with win2day is a significant milestone for Wazdan and a rewarding step in our continued European expansion. Partnering with a trusted, long-established operator allows us to deliver the quality user experience we are known for to a new audience.

“We go above and beyond for our partners, and we are confident our innovative mechanics and engaging features will make a real impact for players in Austria.”

Why simplicity still wins for Wazdan

Earlier this month, Hyla sat down with iGaming Expert to discuss why, despite the constant desire for something new, classic slot formats are continuing to regain momentum in regulated markets.

“This is not a rejection of innovation. It is an acknowledgement that clarity and familiarity remain among the strongest drivers of long-term engagement. In regulated markets particularly, the games that perform best are often those that players understand from the very first spin,” detailed Hyla.

“Players gravitate towards games that are straightforward to pick up, predictable in structure, and well-suited to longer sessions. When mechanics become too layered, session lengths shorten rather than extend. Complexity does not deepen engagement; it frequently disrupts it.”

The challenge for developers, he added, is to find ways to design elements that add value to tried and tested favourites.
