Playzia has taken a “significant step” in its global growth strategy by signing a strategic partnership with Greentube in Germany.
The developers’ range of content will now be available for players in Germany via StarGames, expanding its reach to a broader audience in the region.
Vlad Modorcea, Chief Product Officer at Playzia, commented: “We see great potential in working with Greentube as a key operator in Germany,
“Bringing our games live on StarGames.de will allow us to connect with more players and showcase our innovative gaming content to a highly engaged audience.”
Brand Manager at StarGames, Laszlo Pados, also expressed confidence that its players will enjoy Playzia’s “fresh and engaging” content.
The deal continues Playzia’s expansion into regulated markets.
Last month, the firm secured a partnership with the casino aggregations platform St8.io, licensed by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission and Romania’s National Gambling Office. The platform has also received a recognition notice from the Malta Gaming Authority.
Additionally, Playzia also reached an agreement with Light & Wonder that will see the firm’s content portfolio, including games such as Billionaire Wolf and Cosmos Cash, featured on Light & Wonder’s content marketplace.
Love Island partnership fueled by player demand
Playzia’s expansion follows the announcement of a key collaboration with ITV to develop a series of online games inspired by the hit reality TV series Love Island.
Speaking to iGaming Expert, Modorcea explained that players’ demand for more “personalised and immersive experiences” is fuelling the rise of branded collaborations in iGaming.
He continued: “Branded content, particularly partnerships with well-known TV shows, celebrities and iconic franchises, is creating a new kind of gaming experience that blurs the lines between entertainment and gambling.
“These partnerships are a way to introduce fresh, dynamic experiences that speak to a wider audience. As we continue to see more of these collaborations in the industry, they’re pushing boundaries and encouraging players to engage in new, creative ways.”
