The new venture of Ping has launched as a purpose-built communication platform to serve all businesses involved in iGaming and its global network.

The launch of Ping (ping.live) comes as businesses are forced to review their communication networks in light of high-profile failures and liabilities that have damaged the reputation of legacy platforms.

Developed by iGaming and IT security experts, Ping describes itself as the most secure end-to-end communications platform, providing an “industry-focused alternative to legacy platforms like Skype and Teams”.

All communications on the Ping platform are end-to-end encrypted using GetStream and CryptoJS to ensure engagement is scrambled into unreadable code for external viewers.

Ping CEO Agne Galvelyte detailed current concerns to iGaming Expert: “The iGaming industry thrives on innovation, so why rely on outdated and insecure messaging?”

“With Skype shutting down, we have built Ping; a secure, industry-specific messaging app for connecting verified professionals. We are asking the industry to import their Skype contacts and step into the future of communication.”

Addressing issues head-on, Galvelyte explained that Ping had developed the first fully authenticated iGaming industry directory, allowing users to connect instantly with verified professionals across major operators, suppliers, and service providers.

Unlike standardised communication platforms, Ping will ensure and cross-reference company-verified employee authentication. This security application will protect iGaming incumbents against telecom or messaging spam, fraud, and phishing risks while fostering trust and transparency across the industry.

iGaming leadership is advised that Ping will make its full product (mobile and desktop) debut on 25 March 2025. Ping is designed to mirror the engagement style of WhatsApp or Telegram rather than Skype or Teams. It offers real-time messaging, voice and video calls, and enhanced security features designed for the fast-paced iGaming sector.

“With Skype and others fading into obsolescence, the industry needs a communication tool that truly understands its needs,” said Ping CEO Agne Galvelyte.

“Ping is not just a replacement — it’s an upgrade. It brings the iGaming community together with verified connections, industry-specific features, and a modern interface that makes business communication effortless.”

Galvelyte concluded that in 2025, ensuring secure communications will remain a top concern for high-risk technology sectors, where more businesses will rely on customised communication channels.
