Millwall Football Club has celebrated a collaboration with kwiff ahead of the club’s much-anticipated FA Cup tie against Crystal Palace this weekend.
In a special partnership for the London derby, kwiff will become the Lions’ sleeve sponsor as they look to book a place in the last eight of the FA Cup.
Director of Acquisition at kwiff, Garry McGibbon, commented on the deal: “We at kwiff are delighted to partner with Millwall FC before their upcoming FA Cup clash at the weekend. We’ll have our fingers crossed The Lions can supercharge their way into the next Round.”
The London derby – the first at Selhurst Park since 2012 – will take place live on BBC One and is eagerly anticipated by fans of both sides.
“We’re delighted to have kwiff on board for this weekend’s FA Cup Fifth Round tie against Crystal Palace,” added James Voisey, The Lions’ Head of Commercial. “The guys have been brilliant in throwing their support behind us, so here’s hoping they bring us luck and they’re on the winning side!”
It comes after the launch of kwiff’s new ‘Curfew’ tool, which enables users to customise their platform access restrictions during specific time periods across the day, strengthening the operator’s commitment to responsible gaming and giving players greater control over their access.
Curfew complements the brand’s real-time player monitoring system, which tracks behaviour to detect potential risks. kwiff’s efforts in Responsible Gaming have been recognised by GamCare, which awarded the company the ‘Safer Gambling Standard’ certification.
The Lions currently sit in 12th place in the Championship table, however, have enjoyed a rich vein of form in the FA Cup, landing a victory over fellow London-side, Dagenham and Redbridge, as well as a victory over league-leaders, Leeds.
Palace come into the game after a victory over Aston Villa this week after a two-goal win over London rivals Fulham.
