Betclic has bolstered its slots offering to players in Portugal through a new collaboration with EveryMatrix.
The partnership will see the operator gain access to SlotMatrix’s library of games, comprising more than 37,000 titles from over 350 suppliers, in addition to proprietary content from EveryMatrix’s in-house studios, Fantasma Games and Armadillo Studios.
SlotMatrix titles that will be available to players in the Portuguese iGaming market include Fortune Llama Hyper Heist, Trinity Starlight, Fortuna Gold and Gold Pigger, amongst others.
Geoffroy Villiot, Head of Casino at Betclic, commented: “At Betclic, our priority is to deliver the best entertainment experience to our players. Partnering with EveryMatrix allows us to do that.
“Our casino offering in Portugal now has access to an unparalleled mix of global hits and innovative exclusive titles.”
EveryMatrix partnering with Betclic sees the supplier continue to expand SlotMatrix’s presence in the Portuguese iGaming market.
“We’re thrilled to go live with Betclic, a brand that’s hugely respected in Portugal and across Europe,” stated Mark Hothersall, Head of Business Development, SlotMatrix.
“We’re confident that giving their players access to both aggregated content from tier-1 providers and our own exclusive titles will give them an edge in the market.”
Earlier this week, Banijay Group agreed terms to merge Betclic with Tipico, transforming the landscape of European gambling markets by acquiring a majority 65% stake in the operator from private equity owners CVC Capital and founders.
The deal was described by Banijay CEO François Riahi as a “transformative step” that solidifies the group’s position as the “natural consolidator across the entertainment and gaming industries”.
Riahi said: “Tipico fits perfectly with our DNA — a strong leader in two regulated markets, highly profitable and product-focused. This deal provides Banijay with the reach, scale and diversification that already define our content business.”
