The future is looking increasingly AI for SOFTSWISS as the company confirms the appointment of its first-ever Chief AI Officer.

Denis Romanovskiy has been promoted to the newly minted role from Deputy CTO and will be charged with executing SOFTSWISS’s AI strategy and leading the rollout of its AI platform, which seeks to scale AI automation across the company.

Ivan Montik, Founder of SOFTSWISS, noted that the creation of the role serves as a clear reflection of the critical role that AI is playing in the future development of technology, and the investment in dedicated leadership represents SOFTSWISS’s ambition to be at the “forefront of the shift”.

Romanovskiy has been with SOFTSWISS for over five and a half years, having joined the company as a Deputy CTO in July 2020. Prior to that, he held senior technical positions at EPAM Systems and Wargaming.net.

On his new responsibilities, Romanovskiy added: “I am excited to take on this new challenge, as SOFTSWISS moves from experimentation to execution.

“We’ve seen first-hand the amazing things AI can do. Our focus now is on making AI a trusted, governed and economically efficient capability that delivers measurable productivity gains across every part of the business.”

Alongside Romanovskiy, SOFTSWISS has also announced the appointment of Sergey Kastukevich as Chief Technology Officer, promoting him from Deputy CTO.

Kastukevich’s focus will largely lie in executing SOFTSWISS’s technology and product strategy, overseeing developments in the company’s software architecture, infrastructure strategy and engineering productivity.

He joined SOFTSWISS in the same month as Romanovskiy and brings to his new role significant experience, having previously served as the CTO of the OCS Innovation Company for over nine years.

“In this role, my focus will remain on strengthening the technical foundations that enable rapid, secure, and high-quality delivery while also driving innovation across everything we do,” said Kastukevich.
