“We don’t reinvent the wheel – we perfect it,” a slogan that stood out as the driving force behind Gamzix’s consistent rise as the company recently basked in the glory of a half a decade anniversary.
Following the games provider highlighting a five-point breakdown that has elevated the company to its current position, Lida Kosohova, Chief Commercial Officer, spoke to iGaming Expert to look a little deeper into the journey so far.
“Over the past five years, some of the major highlights include the company’s rapid growth from a small startup to a team of 100 employees and over 2,000 partners,” she says.
“Gamzix has developed more than 60 games, each one representing a leap forward in game design, mechanics, and player experience.”
Additionally, a “commitment” to hyper-personalisation and quality is hailed as leading operators to witness “tangible success” in player engagement. While high-profile collaborations, such as a Nike alignment, have allowed a unique and distinctive path to be forged.
However, standing out amid a crowded market in the current environment would not have been possible without early opportunities being identified that could be exploited.
This again centres around hyper-personalised experiences, as Kosohova suggests that a gap in the market was identified regarding heightened customisation to incorporate features, mechanics, and promotional flexibility.
“This approach ensured that each partnership was not just transactional but built on a foundation of collaboration,” she continues.
“Additionally, Gamzix’s commitment to quality over quick solutions, such as their refined sound design and engaging gameplay, provided a solid foundation from which the company could grow and differentiate itself in a competitive market.”
However, despite such early promise, an untimely global lockdown brought a significant challenge to the company’s door.
Despite travel restrictions and the inability to attend in-person events limiting Gamzix’s ability to connect directly with partners and clients, the untimely headwind was ultimately vaulted.
Concluding the conversation, Gamzix casts a glance to the future, placing a focus on new market entries and potential new games that could well cause a stir.
“We have several exciting titles in development, with one set to launch very soon—designed to showcase the evolution of our game production,” Kosohova concludes.
“On the expansion front, we’re preparing to announce a key addition to our team that reflects our growing focus on new markets. This strategic move signals the next chapter in Gamzix’s international growth, and we look forward to sharing more details shortly.”
While the modern celebratory gift for a five-year anniversary is silverware, one thing is for certain: Gamzix will certainly not be settling for anything other than a gold placed finish amid the rising tide of competition.
