As the global gambling industry’s attention became firmly fixed on Brazil as 2025 was ushered in, the years-long ambition of operators and suppliers alike came into reality. Now that the regulated market is finally live, those years of strategising have turned into action, and those whose plans can attract the attention of players and clients alike will come out on top.

One such company that has been prioritising the Brazil market is Gamingtec, a supplier of online casino and sports betting platform technology for operators globally. An experienced supplier, Gamingtec has an established strategy for new markets that has seen it grow a presence across the globe including Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Central to the company’s strategy is offering a tailored, well-researched, localised plan for each individual jurisdiction and client. By outlining a plan for each client, the firm says it can produce better results with effective customer service.

As Hugo Nogueira, Head of Marketing for Latin America, says: “We are a brand that is doing things differently from the competition. We focus on the client and their needs, and many of our team members have previously worked in similar industries. They truly understand what the client requires, which allows us to tailor our platform to their specific needs.

“If a client from Central America wants to expand their brand into a particular market, our platform is fully equipped to ensure it functions correctly in that region. This has been a crucial factor in our success. Additionally, businesses prefer working with a company that understands their challenges first-hand and can resolve issues with a simple phone call.”

The company has a range of White Label and Turnkey solutions for online casino and sports betting operators, and vows to work on a personalised individual basis to ensure that the client experience is optimal.

In a market such as Brazil, where there are dozens of licensed operators and even more brands, standing out from the competition is essential, so working on a personalised basis with a supplier can be a significant advantage.

Édi Varela, Sales Manager at Gamingtec, adds: “It’s essential to understand the needs of our audience. We take a hands-on approach, asking questions, checking out our competitors, and seeing how we can get closer to our audience by understanding their habits.

“In some countries, people are more inclined toward certain activities because they are familiar with certain sportsbooks. Additionally, emerging sports like esports are becoming increasingly popular, so we stay up to date with these trends.”

Adding on his explanation of the processes the Gamingtec uses to personalise its experience, Varela explains the concept of “tropicalisation”, whereby the company uses its research and experience to tailor solutions for each market.

He elaborates: “Our solutions are customised to meet the unique content needs of each market. We know exactly what content our audience expects on their platforms, depending on their country. For example, in some places, people prefer casino games on the right side of the screen, while in others, they prefer them on the left. Some enjoy crash games, while others prefer colourful slot machines—like in Brazil, which is currently a key market for us.”

As Varela outlines, Brazil is a market of intense focus for Gamingtec, which will be exhibiting at SBC Summit Rio from February 25-27 at Riocentro.

The firm will showcase its products and hold meetings with new and existing partners.

One representative will be the company’s Commercial Director Andrei Beu, who says that Gamingtec’s customer-centric approach is ingrained in its culture and history; the firm has over 12 years of experience in providing White Label and Turnkey solutions.

Beu says: “It’s an all in one shop, as I like to call it. For a potential casino operator, you will just come in, you will list your demands, and we will basically provide whatever you need. And we will become your partner, not just your provider.”

Gamingtec will be located at stand B770 at Riocentro next week and will host a range of activities including raffling a signed Pele Santos jersey.

Aside from the raffle, Gamingtec will host meetings and continue to showcase its range of solutions for iGaming operators for the Brazilian market and beyond in the Latin American region.

As Beu wraps up: “SBC Summit Rio is a great chance to explore the opportunities in Brazil and LatAm, which are among our main goals this year. We believe this year’s edition will be even better than the last, and we’re excited to connect with local businesses, listen to their stories, and share our solutions.”
