Latin America continues to present a plethora of opportunities for many across the industry, despite the quick progress made across a range of jurisdictions in recent times.
1spin4win is one such example that is buoyant regarding its own progress, despite the headway already made to this point. However, this could not be possible without an intense focus on meeting diversified player preferences.
This is a key focus for the studio, says Business Development Manager, Jaime Carvajal, who also elaborates on a newly signed key partnership within Mexico and how a recently celebrated fifth anniversary will be built upon.
To begin, could you talk us through 1spin4win’s current footprint within Latin America, and what you believe you can ultimately achieve within the region?
We have already made strong progress in Latin America, but there is still plenty of room to grow. Today, 1spin4win partners with well-recognised brands across the region, including Stake.mx, Alea, SOFTSWISS, EveryMatrix, Brazino777, BC.GAME, 1win, BetBoom, and Fortuna Juegos. In total, we work with more than 600 online casinos operating in LatAm.
Looking ahead, we will focus on strengthening existing partnerships and building new ones. That is also why I will be attending SBC Summit Americas. I see it as a great opportunity to explore new collaborations and discuss how 1spin4win’s proven classics can enrich the offering of more regional casino brands.
Finally, we plan to deepen localisation, including a full Spanish version of our website, to make communication with partners and players even easier.
How challenging has it been to meet the differing demands and preferences of players from country to country?
One of the key lessons we’ve learned is that Latin America should never be treated as a single market. Each country has its own player preferences, gaming habits, and content trends, which makes understanding local audiences essential.
In some markets, players are more drawn to themed adventures. In others, they prefer formats that feel closer to traditional slot machines. Mexico is a good example.
Fruit and coin-based slots are especially popular there, along with games inspired by local culture and Hold and Win titles featuring Cash+ and Buy Bonus mechanics.
That’s why we rely on data, not assumptions. We look closely at how players behave in each market – what they play, what they return to, and which formats perform best. This helps us keep the portfolio relevant for different audiences and maintain a consistent 40% month-to-month retention rate.
Are there any plans to diversify your gaming catalogue to potentially reach a larger player base, and why?
Yes, we plan to keep expanding our portfolio, but without moving away from our core focus on classic slots. For 1spin4win, diversification means introducing new themes and concepts that resonate with players across different markets.
For example, in several Latin American countries, we see a strong interest in animal-themed content. This insight influenced the development of Lucky Selva Hold and Win, coming out on June 25. Set deep in the rainforest, the slot invites players into a dynamic jungle adventure filled with mystery, wildlife energy, and vibrant scenery.
We also see strong potential in sports-themed content. The upcoming football season creates strong excitement across the region, which is why we expect Lucky Goal Hold and Win to resonate well with players.
Alongside a relevant theme, it features Hold and Win – a Bonus mechanic that remains among the top performing slot formats in markets such as Mexico.
1spin4win recently penned an agreement with Stake Mexico. How did this come about, and what does it mean for the studio?
The agreement with Stake.mx is an exciting step in our Latin American expansion. Mexico is already a key regional market for us, and working with a major international brand that has recently entered the country helps us reach more local players and introduce them to our classic slot portfolio.
The company recently celebrated its fifth anniversary, how has this set the foundation for the next stage of the journey? And what will this comprise?
On May 14, 2026, 1spin4win marked five years in the iGaming market – an important milestone for the company and a strong foundation for what comes next.
