Real Madrid icon Fernando Morientes to attend SBC Summit Tbilisi

SBC Summit Tbilisi 2026, Eastern Europe and Central Asia’s leading iGaming and sports conference, is excited to announce that former Real Madrid and Spain striker, Fernando Morientes, will be attending the event later this month.

Taking place from 15-16 July, Morientes will participate in the SBC Summit Tbilisi as an invited speaker, sharing his extensive experience in professional football, outlining his leadership principles, and presenting his perspective on the growing role of technology and business in modern football.

Closely associated with the golden era of world football, three-time UEFA Champions League winner Morientes was instrumental throughout his career, playing a part in numerous historic victories at the highest level of European competition and establishing himself as a symbol of professionalism, tactical intelligence, and leadership. Today, he is among the most sought-after speakers at international sports and business conferences worldwide.

On the main stage of SBC Summit Tbilisi, Morientes will address how technological progress is reshaping modern football, the impact of commercial forces on the development of sport, the ways in which a culture of winning is established, and the shared principles that underpin success in both elite sport and business.

Morientes said: “I am pleased to be attending SBC Summit Tbilisi 2026. I look forward to meeting participants, sharing my experience, and being part of this special event.”

“Without a doubt, his appearance will be one of the highlights of this year’s Summit and will further reinforce Tbilisi’s role as a key meeting point for international business and the iGaming industry.”

The fourth edition of SBC Summit Tbilisi, organised by SBC and SMH, will take place on 15–16 July at the Sheraton Grand Metechi Palace Hotel, presented by EGT Georgia and Amusnet.

The region’s largest iGaming and Sports conference will bring together 2,500 industry leaders and representatives of leading companies from Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Caucasus, and neighbouring regions.

Up to 50 international and Georgian companies will be represented at the conference. The program will include panel discussions, exhibition spaces, and business meetings, providing participants with opportunities to establish new contacts, exchange experiences, and discuss current industry trends.

As part of SBC Summit Tbilisi, the Regulators Forum will be held for the second time this year.

The event will bring together representatives of iGaming regulatory bodies from various countries, including Estonia, Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Georgia, Lithuania, and others, offering a unique opportunity for both attendees and regulators to establish direct communication with industry representatives, exchange experience, discuss current challenges, opportunities, and prospects for future cooperation in regulation.
