Caesars Entertainment has unveiled the first slot produced by its in-house studio, Empire Creative.
Ca$hline is a three-reel stepper slot that went live to players in New Jersey via Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Sportsbook & Casino, and Horseshoe Online Casino.
The title is expected to expand to Caesars’ online casino markets in Michigan, Ontario, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, and builds on the operator’s Signature Series of table games, including Signature Blackjack, Signature American Roulette, and Signature Baccarat.
According to Caesars, the slot allows players to wager across reel one, reel one and two or all three reels, unlocking a greater win potential as more reels are activated.
Matthew Sunderland, Senior Vice President and Chief iGaming Officer at Caesars Digital, said: “Ca$hline is built to give players simple, meaningful choices every time they play.
“The team has created a streamlined, player‑driven experience anchored by choice, control and fresh mechanics that respect the classic stepper format.”
Shifting tides
Caesars established Empire Creative in early 2025, culminating in the launch of Caesars Palace Signature Multihand Blackjack Surrender in May last year. At the time, Sunderland described the release as a “major milestone in our mission to create world-class, in-house developed gaming content”.
Caesars is also far from unique in seeking to unlock the benefits offered by utilising in-house studios.
In the Uk, Flutter’s Sky Betting & Gaming Studios develops proprietary slots and arcade games for its Sky Bet and Sky Vegas online casino platforms.
Meanwhile, Entain’s in-house stable now numbers four studios after the December debut of its first title from ReTrigger Games – launched to focus on developing content for BetMGM in the US.
Shifting towards in-house productions will allow Caesars to develop content specifically for its audiences based on consumer data and incorporate its brand identity.
Proprietary titles like Ca$hline will now sit alongside content from more traditional suppliers such as Wazdan, EveryMatrix and Greebtube, and support a segment for Caesars that enjoyed strong growth in 2025.
According to the company’s full-year financial report, Caesars Digital’s net revenue grew 21.1% to $1.41bn (£1.05bn) in 2025, up from $1.16bn (£861.3m) in the previous year. Meanwhile, adjusted EBITDA more than doubled year-over-year to $236m (£175.2m) compared to $117m (£86.9m) in 2024.
