Walking around Halls One and Two of SBC Summit 2025 in Lisbon, one thing was abundantly clear. There are plenty of platform and crypto platform providers in the industry. It is something that Nadiya Attard, Chief Commercial Officer at Elantil had certainly noticed.
Indeed Elantil itself is an iGaming platform provider. But it claims to be different from the rest, owing to its technology built for the modern era.
Attard, speaking to iGaming Expert live on the show floor at SBC Summit, wasn’t worried about plenty of competition – “it benefits the end user and creates better quality products” – but she did outline what makes her believe Elantil stands out from the rest.

“A lot of platforms were built pre-regulation; if you want to make a small change, it takes forever. With us, this isn’t the case because we have changes in mind. A lot of things are actually done as a setting in the back office, so it’s very easy. If you want to make a change, you click a button then off you go.”
Elantil is a newer player in the market, having been founded in 2024 by Jonathan Gauci – an iGaming executive with experience at the likes of GiG and Betsson.
With Gauci’s experience and tech expertise, the provider aims to deliver “comprehensive solutions that enhance casino operations with seamless growth, optimisation and scalability”.
Another key USP that Attard highlighted was its real time data.
She added: “When I say real, I really mean real. The data is reflected in the back office immediately and you can use the new data to make smarter decisions. This way you can really differentiate your casino.”
Elantil is also well-known for its marketplace of solutions – not to be confused with an aggregator – that brings together countless solutions that can be plugged into the platform with multi wallet and multi currency capabilities.
“We compare it to Revolut where you have multi wallets and multi currencies,” said Attard. “Like when using Revolut you click a button, create a new wallet and choose a currency. It’s the same in Elantil.”
A platform made for crypto players
One key market that Elantil is looking to target is crypto casinos and crypto gamers. This is reflected in its multi wallet and multi currency solutions. One feature that Elantil boasts is the ability for operators to create their own coin, making it the go-to crypto platform on the market.
Attard said that this can help operators not only stand out with crypto players but also offer multiple revenue streams.
She explained: “A cool thing you could do is integrate it into your marketing, like for example giving 100 free spins if they deposit into a standard currency, but 130 free spins for depositing into your coin. You promote your currency and give better bonuses to players.”
Bonuses play a big part of the modern day casino sector and crypto play is no different. Perhaps it is even bigger, owing to the role of community and some of the larger stakes crypto players place.
Elantil has bonus and VIP provision capabilities to help operators engage with crypto and fiat players to keep them entertained.
“With our creative platform, you can build your own loyalty program, build a shop to reward your players. You can give out different bonuses, integrate your own content without asking us so you can give players original games. We can also support you all the way even down to the look and feel of the website.”
Attard added: “You can have loot boxes which are popular with crypto players. All these functionalities help bring a social life into the crypto world and it’s simple and seamless. Players can post their winnings directly with friends. It’s very creative and players enjoy it.”
Speed and excellence
To provide these features, it requires technical excellence and Attard said that Elantil has it in abundance.
Key to this, Attard explained, is its real time data enabled by its solid infrastructure built for the future. She outlined several tests with Raspberry Pi single board computers that showed Elantil’s platform capable of processing many more transactions than some alternatives.
“Traditional platforms are usually limited in how many players they can handle,” she said. “We can handle around 100x more players. Why? Because of how our infrastructure is built, operators can scale much further. We have a specific hosting solution where you can scale and if you are running a promotion, you can increase your hosting and after the promotion decrease it again. It all works to ensure the player has a seamless experience.”
The speed of data processing is also flexible in terms of the number of use cases it can open up for operators.
As Attard noted: “You can know exactly when to give a player a bonus or log into the backend and see the real-time VIP play. You can see if players are losing and give them something manually or you can link them with customer support in real time.
“Also with real time data you have all of your transactions recorded. So if it’s crypto that fluctuates a lot, you automatically know the conversion without losing anything.”
Customised UI
One often trotted criticism of the iGaming sector is that the user interface has not evolved as much as other sectors, particularly on the sports betting side. Elantil is working to develop custom frontends with its clients, if they would like to take up that option.
Attard said that Elantil aims to create fresh interfaces that players still resonate with, adding: “We recently launched a new brand and we saw the website last week. They look like such a great brand and entirely different to other casinos.
“We have this special builder with drag and drop functionality that allows you to create a completely new experience. We allow all our customers to build their own frontend if they want to.”
These developments are done with automated technology and Attard outlined the company’s ambition to be able to make things happen and work with the click of just one button.
While not quite there yet, Elantil continues to develop its technology to serve its clients with modern infrastructure to get ahead of the competition in a saturated online casino sector.
Attard closed the conversation outlining that ambition: “We’re 70% there but we need to increase another 30% to develop much more cool features and functionalities for the customer.
“We wanted to be fun, we wanted to be unique. We wanted to be different from others, and we wanted to innovate as well. So that’s a lot of plans for the next several months, but I’m sure we will get there.”
