Playtech and Hard Rock Digital have expanded their strategic partnership to launch the trivia title, Live Trivia Game Show, on the operator’s Hard Rock Bet online casino platform in New Jersey.

A quiz-based segment, Live Trivia Game Show is hosted by trained game show presenters who offer players scheduled trivia promotions and real-time questions to win prizes.

Streamed live via Playtech’s platform, the title is fully customisable in design, themes, language, as well as tailored prizes, including Golden Chips and Free Spins, for individual or group winners.

The trivia title’s launch builds upon an existing partnership between Playtech and Hard Rock Digital, which has been in place for more than two years.

“Our partnership with Hard Rock Digital has been built around a unified vision to drive innovation and deliver exceptional customer experiences,” stated Jonathan Doubilet, VP US Business Operations at Playtech.

“We are proud to celebrate this milestone with the launch of our Live Trivia Game Show on the Hard Rock Bet platform, bringing a new level of entertainment to their players.”

Through its existing deal, Playtech supplies gaming content to Hard Rock Bet, including slots, card & table games and live dealer games. Trivia has now been added to that offering.

According to Playtech, Hard Rock Bet is also the first online casino operator in the state of New Jersey to launch a dedicated trivia title.

Grant Williams, Senior Vice President of Casino at Hard Rock Digital, added: “We’re thrilled to be the first in New Jersey to offer Playtech’s Live Trivia Game Show, and continue to elevate the player experience with cutting-edge, innovative content.

“This exclusive experience will truly stand out in the market and uniquely engage players with our top-rated platform by testing their knowledge, competing for rewards, and enjoying interactive, real-time entertainment like never before.”

Earlier this month, Playtech announced the appointment of John Gleasure as an independent Non-Executive Director and Chair Elect, replacing Brian Mattingley, who is stepping down.

Gleasure is expected to become Chair next month after Playtech’s annual general meeting.

In addition, the supplier recently agreed to a new long-term deal with evoke for a third live casino studio, Club Aurora. This studio features classic blackjack tables, roulette and a free-to-play game called Trivia Hub.
