PENN Entertainment has gone live with its branded standalone online casino app, theScore Casino, in the Canadian province of Ontario.
Available on Android, iOS, and desktop and through theScore Bet app, players in Ontario can log in to theScore Casino app with their existing theScore Bet details.
The iCasino app also leverages theScore’s branding, which is well-known throughout the Canadian province.
“We’re excited to introduce our dedicated iCasino product in Ontario under the well-known and trusted theScore brand,” commented Aaron LaBerge, Chief Technology Officer and Head of Interactive at PENN Entertainment.
A variety of online slots, table games and live dealer games are included in the content portfolio of theScore Casino, including titles from the company’s in-house game development studio, PENN Game Studios.
Bespoke live dealer tables and exclusive games will also be featured on theScore Casino, such as Blue Jays Blackjack as part of the operator’s partnership with the Toronto Blue Jays NHL team.
The iCasino app also provides players with responsible gaming tools and resources, including limits on time, deposits and wagering.
theScore Casino utilises the same technology as PENN’s US standalone online casino, Hollywood Casino, which went live in Pennsylvania last December before expanding into Michigan and New Jersey earlier this year.

During PENN’s recent financial report, CEO Jay Snowden highlighted that theScore Bet has helped Ontario become the company’s “number one market in North America in terms of revenues, gross profit and contribution margin”.
