Seven-figure prizes remain an eyecatching feature, even in the high stakes world of gambling, so the latest jackpot from SOFTSWISS looks set to grab the attention of both players and operators.

The igaming tech specialist’s Prime Network Jackpot has for the first time started with a pool of €1m, a figure that is likely to grow before the winner takes all prize drops.

It represents significant growth for the multi-operator product, which was first launched by the SOFTSWISS Jackpot Aggregator player engagement management solution in October 2023 with a base prize of €100,000.

The increase in the level of the grand prize, which will be won by a single player, has been driven by the rising number of operators participating in the shared prize pool engagement feature.

Anhelina Stasiuk, Head of Business Line at SOFTSWISS Jackpot Aggregator, described the first €1m prize pool as “a very exciting milestone” and attributed the landmark to how quickly the Prime Network Jackpot feature has evolved.

“Beyond the hard work of our professional team, this success reflects the high interest in engagement tools within the market,” she added. “In igaming, prize size matters. I’m proud that we’ve reached a level where we can offer the best solutions.”

The Jackpot Aggregator has proved to be a hit for SOFTSWISS and more than 80 brands have signed up to use the engine, which allows operators to launch customised jackpots and to join the Prime Network Jackpot.

This growth has been reflected in the financial performance of the division, which saw its Q2 2024 bet sum hit more than double that of the corresponding period in 2023.

It is hoping to achieve further growth by launching the jackpot engine in more territories, beginning in Bulgaria, where it recently gained Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) certification.
