Campeon Gaming: The recipe for a successful casino operator

At SBC Summit Lisbon, Campeon Gaming’s Head of Casino, Dimos Papadimos, revealed the key details prospective casino operators must consider to succeed in an increasingly competitive environment.

Alongside a careful product mix, functional website and effective CRM, Papadimos stressed the need for operators to provide round-the-clock support for players.

He explained: “As soon as the players join the site, maybe they’ve got some questions and answering those questions in a timely manner is really very important because it’s always good to know that on the other side, there is somebody who can sort all the issues.”

During the interview, Papadimos also considered the trends that he believes will shape the future of iGaming.

At the forefront of this is greater collaboration between developers and operators.

“If they work in tandem, they can create something that’s exclusive, that the market doesn’t have and the competition doesn’t have,” he explained.

Alongside this, Papadimos also reinforced the importance of delivering localised content as players increasingly expect “fresh, tailored experiences”.

Reflecting on 2025

Papadimos also reflected on Campeon’s development in 2025, paying particular attention to the strides the company has made in improving player retention and engagement.

“This is a testament that our players are both quite happy with our product and at the same time, they are quite happy with our offerings,” he continued.

“We have improved our team’s efficiency by strengthening cross-collaboration across our internal departments. The roadmap so far has been executed with great success, and this is translated directly into a smoother user experience, better websites and features that are much better in delivery.”
