Billy Turchin has been appointed by PENN Entertainment as Chief Product Officer of its PENN Interactive online division.
Turchin made the announcement on his LinkedIn profile, stating that he would be in charge of PENN Interactive’s product direction across its different branded online platforms.
“Excited to share that I’ve joined PENN Entertainment, Inc as Chief Product Officer, PENN Interactive,” commented Turchin on his new role.
“In this role, I’ll be leading the product strategy for digital experiences across our online gaming brands, including ESPN BET, Hollywood Casino, theScore, theScore Bet and more.”
Turchin joins PENN from Flutter Entertainment brand FanDuel, where he was Senior Vice President of Product for almost four years.
He continued: “Along with cutting-edge digital products, PENN Entertainment features the largest and most diverse gaming footprint in North America, operating 43+ casino and racetrack properties under well-known brands including Hollywood, Ameristar, L’Auberge, M, and more.

Earlier this month, PENN continued to grow its online offering in Ontario with the launch of its branded standalone online casino app, theScore Casino.
The iCasino app uses theScore’s branding, which is well-known throughout the Canadian province. It also uses the same technology as Hollywood Casino, PENN’s US standalone online casino, which is currently live in the states of Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
