Yolo Group is continuing to make additions to its C-suite team with the appointment of Lara Falzon as Chief Executive Officer of its B2B brands.

Falzon brings over a decade of leadership experience to Yolo, having worked for the likes of Bragg Gaming, NetEnt, Evoke Gaming and Red Tiger Gaming. She was most recently the CEO of AvatarUX.

With Yolo, Falzon will focus on the group’s B2B products, which include aggregation platform Hub88 and live casino provider Live88, as well as Odds88 and OneTouch, helping the company’s online casino and sports betting grow and utilise investment, technology and partnerships.

“I’m thrilled to join Yolo Group during one of the most exciting periods in the company’s history,” commented Falzon on her appointment.

“As proven by its success so far this year, there is enormous potential for innovation, strengthening partnerships and scaling across global markets. I look forward to working alongside Yolo’s exceptionally talented team to achieve our shared goals.”

Targeting sustained global growth, Falzon’s appointment follows Jean Claude Magri being named Chief Financial Officer back in January.

Jose Micallef, CEO at Yolo Group Middle East, added: “Lara brings exceptional industry insight gained over many years, along with a track record of delivering impressive results. I am delighted to hand over the baton to such a strong leader.

“Lara’s leadership is exactly what is needed for Yolo Group’s continued successful expansion and will ensure the delivery of next-generation solutions that fuel the success of our partners.”

Speaking to iGaming Expert earlier this year, Natasha Giorgio, Head of Sales & Business Development at Yolo Group, gave insight into the latest Hub88 and Live88 developments and the strategies that continue to drive things forward.

Information was provided on the likes of Motion Roulette and Triton Multiplier, as well as UI customisation, consolidating paperwork and simplifying payment processes.

Giorgio commented: “It gives them more personalisation and that’s what it’s about. Ultimately, at the end of the day. The whole change was to be in a position to actually tailor more towards the Asian audiences.

“Our research was indicating what players like, so this is why we had the UI update on this level, so we can give that audience the opportunity to personalise it to be more within their player preference.”
