Betsson has partnered with EveryMatrix to revamp its Betsson Africa brand platform in the Cameroonian iGaming market.
Betsson Africa selected EveryMatrix following a competitive tender process, with the operator now gaining access to the platform provider’s full turnkey casino and sports technology suite.
Through the partnership, EveryMatrix will roll out its front-end development tools with Betsson Africa, with products spanning casino, sports, player account management, payments and affiliate management.
Rony Richa, Commercial Director at Betsson Group, stated: “This launch reflects a pragmatic approach by Betsson as we explore selected regulated markets.
“EveryMatrix was chosen for its proven technology, regulatory experience and capability to support a structured and controlled rollout.”
Betsson helps EveryMatrix roll out across Africa
EveryMatrix’s partnership with Betsson Africa in Cameroon is a continuation of the supplier’s plans to grow its presence on the continent. The supplier has deals in place with BetKing in Nigeria as well as with MBet in Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
In addition, EveryMatrix was awarded a manufacturer’s licence to supply its services in South Africa earlier this year.
Ebbe Groes, Group Co-Chief Executive Officer & Co-founder at EveryMatrix, added: “Delivering a full turnkey platform solution for Betsson Africa reflects the strength and maturity of our technology and delivery capabilities in regulated environments, while reinforcing our commitment to the continent.

“Our focus is on supporting a stable and compliant launch in Cameroon and working closely with the Betsson team as the operation develops.”
Matt Cowan, Commercial Director at EveryMatrix, Africa, recently spoke to iGaming Expert about the rise of iGaming across Africa, outlining that mature player bases is causing players to seek ‘richer, more dynamic game experiences’ and how operators can capitalise on changing user habits.
Away from Africa, Betsson CEO Pontus Lindwall stated on a recent episode of iGaming Daily that the operator will be staying away from some of the largest gambling markets in Western Europe because of recent regulatory changes and challenges.
