Swintt has accelerated its expansion efforts for 2025 by gaining entry into its first new market, Greece.
As part of the slot studio’s aim to enter three new markets across the year, Swintt has secured permission from the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) to enter Greece, the studio’s 12th market entry since its launch.
Praising the move, David Mann, CEO at Swintt, stated: “At Swintt, we’ve always been clear about our ambitions to expand, but it’s important for us to do that in a strategic way and only target regulated markets that make commercial sense to us – and Greece definitely fits this bill.”
While the move will enhance the visibility of the provider’s iGaming content on the European continent, it will also see Elysium Studios – a Swintt subsidiary – gain further exposure with a Greek debut.
Mann continued: “As the 12th regulated market where our games are certified for launch, we’re very happy to have been granted approval by the HGC and are already hard at work trying to find suitable partners to host our titles in the country.”
At the turn of the year, Swintt outlined an aim to introduce its slots to three new markets in 2025.
Achieving its Greek debut has seen the firm kick off this goal, and the Malta-based studio has named Italy and Switzerland as potential next steps in its growth journey.
Mann concluded: “I’m very excited about the possibilities the Greek market will hold for Swintt and am already looking forward to getting our portfolio out to a wide new audience.”
One title that could potentially excite players as Swintt makes its first move into Greece is Wild Wild North – the latest release from Elysium Studios.
Last month, iGaming Expert caught up with Mann to delve into the Viking-themed slot, with the Swintt CEO hailing it as a slot filled with “action and exploration”.
