Mindway AI has announced a new partnership with BetComply focused on business strategy and player protection.
The player protection software provider will be seeking advice from BetComply on the future roadmap of its products and new business opportunities, in a bid to further develop its offering and support a wider range of operators.
The partnership will be led by BetComply’s Safer Gambling and Sustainability Specialist, Jez White, who previously served as Director of Player Protection Systems and Analytics at Entain.
On the collaboration, White commented: “Our goal is to help bridge the gap between innovation and implementation, ensuring operators can fully harness tools like GameScanner to deliver more effective, proactive player protection.”
Mindway AI’s CEO, Rasmus Kjaergaard, added that the addition of BetComply’s expertise and operational experience will be a “huge asset”.
A particular focus for BetComply will be the future development of GameScanner, a tool that uses AI to detect and prevent problem gambling behaviour.
Earlier this week, Mindway AI revealed that the technology will be implemented within the online platform of the Netherlands-based Hommerson Amusement.
This integration continues Mindway AI’s push to strengthen responsible gambling across Europe, as this month the brand also announced a partnership with the Hellenic Gaming Commission.
Meanwhile, the brand has also secured a provisional associate membership for The European Lotteries (EL).
The EL acts as an umbrella organisation for national lotteries operating games of chance across Europe, including sports betting. Its funding supports initiatives covering sport, cultural heritage, art, healthcare education, science and more.
Mindway AI will join 70 members across 39 European countries once its membership is formally approved at the EL’s General Assembly in September 2025.
On securing the provisional membership, Kjaergaard said: “This partnership will be an essential step in our endeavour to implement cutting-edge responsible gaming solutions across the continent, ensuring a safe and positive environment for players.”
