ThrillTech is bringing its side-bet jackpot technology to Ontario after securing a gaming-related supplier licence from the Canadian province’s regulator.
With the licence by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), the provider is allowed to supply ThrillPots, its opt-in, side-bet jackpot technology, to regulated online casino, sports betting, and lottery operators across the iGaming market.
ThrillTech’s existing multinational partners who already operate in Ontario can also now launch the side-bet jackpots as part of their product offering to players in the province. The company is in talks to secure new operator deals in the market as well.

ThrillPots side-bet jackpots are recognised by the company as ‘bespoke, player-funded jackpot mechanics that layer seamlessly over their existing core products’, acting independently as an opt-in side bet.
Gameplay or return-to-player on iGaming titles are therefore not impacted by the jackpots, with ThrillTech describing their product as ‘a highly scalable, non-volatile tool which significantly boosts player engagement while generating incremental revenue’.
Alongside Ontario, ThrillTech is also licensed to provide its services in the United Kingdom, Sweden, the Netherlands, Romania, Malta, Gibraltar, Brazil, and Peru.
Earlier this month, the company strengthened its presence in Latin America through a new strategic partnership with SportingTech.
