Swiss Casinos’ online casino brand is bringing more iGaming content to its players in Switzerland after securing a partnership with Yggdrasil Gaming.
The Playtech-powered integration will add Yggdrasil’s content portfolio to the swisscasinos.ch game lobby, delivering titles such as Valley of the Gods, Vikings Go Berzerk and Raptor.
Yggdrasil has been present in the Swiss iGaming market since 2020, as the deal with Swiss Casinos further strengthens its position in the country.
Patrick Mastai, Online Casino Director of swisscasinos.ch, commented: “As one of Switzerland’s leading casino operators, we have built a strong reputation for delivering premium entertainment within a highly regulated market.
“Partnering with Yggdrasil allows us to further enhance our game portfolio with proven, high-performing content.”
Yggdrasil Gaming added that more titles are expected to be integrated onto the Swiss Casino online platform in the months to come.
Yggdrasil branches out
The iGaming supplier has been branching out its reach in Europe over the last few months, partnering up with Admiral to expand its presence in the Serbian iGaming market.
However, its growth goes beyond the European continent, as Yggdrasil has also recently secured a duo partnership in South Africa with SportyBet and Playco.za.
Lexuri Arnaiz, Regional Manager for Spain and Northern Europe at Yggdrasil, added: “Strengthening our presence in Switzerland through our collaboration with swisscasinos.ch demonstrates our commitment to operating in well-regulated markets.”
iGamingExpert recently spoke with nAni Srinivasan, President ofiTech Labs, and Joshua Strydom, Chief Compliance & Risk Officer at Yggdrasil, about the supplier’s Game in a Box, a new proprietary technology designed to simplify and accelerate game development from design to release.
Strydom said: “Game in a Box is designed to give studios a structured development framework that already takes account of many of the practical demands involved in regulated distribution.
“Instead of each studio having to solve the same regulatory and operational problems from scratch, they can work within a model that is built to support licensing, certification, localisation, and integration more efficiently.
“Yggdrasil publicly positions it as a framework intended to streamline delivery and cover much of the heavy lifting around market entry. That does not remove compliance obligations, and it does not make regulations disappear. What it does is make the route to market more consistent, more scalable and less dependent on each studio reinventing the wheel.”
