SBC Summit will host a three-session Slots Masterclass to provide delegates with a detailed breakdown of how to operate all crucial components of games of chance.
Guidance during these sessions will be provided by Lucien Wijsman, best known for his role at the Electronic Gaming Academy (formerly The Slot Academy).
Wijsman has also provided advice to many land-based casino operators across the world, and now he is bringing that knowledge to SBC Summit in Lisbon next week on 17 September.
Throughout the day in Media HQ Auditorium II, Wijsman will host three sessions covering different topics and areas across the land-based and online sectors:
- Electronic Gaming Player Expectations and Motivations – 10:30-12:30
- Product and Price considerations – 13:00-15:00
- Bet Based Promotions and Q&A – 15:30-16:30
Kicking off the Slots Masterclass, Electronic Gaming Player Expectations and Motivations will examine player profiles over a two-hour session to deliver vital lessons on knowing your customers’ expectations and motivations.
These insights will help operators when it comes to determining product configurations, game mechanics, price setting and bonus features.
Next, Product and Price considerations will dive into price setting in games of chance, spending two hours highlighting the impact of minimum and maximum bet settings, as well as taking into account financial exposure, among other aspects.
Utilising what was learnt in the first session about player profiles, session two will also present why game selection is important, as well as the impacts of RTP, game duration and volatility.
Concluding the Slots Masterclass will be the Bet Based Promotions and Q&A session.
The final hour of the day will explore how to attract and reward players, as well as the different types of reward mechanisms used by operators beyond extra play or free play, since players could be limited by time or budget.
Time will also be available for any delegates to ask Wijsman any questions they may have.
