Flutter Studios is making its final preparations to launch its first slot title on a new PokerStars Casino platform called The SlotList.
The SlotList will bring exclusive monthly game releases to the PokerStars platform, curated and focused on “quality, community, and digital-first play” to purposely highlight every month’s new title.
Ed Fogarty, Associate Director of Casino Commercial, noted: “We set out to build a platform to showcase a new generation of innovative games. The SlotList is an opportunity for game studios to get their most disruptive and unique ideas in front of a large gaming crowd and really make waves.”
Set to launch on 29 September, the first title to go live will be Chicken Blast, which PokerStars says is a “first-to-market game that mixes the instant suspense of a single spin with a feature that can blast your chicken astronaut into space” with players having the option to cash out or keep playing.
Describing the slot, PokerStars added: “In Chicken Blast, players join a daredevil chicken astronaut on a wild ride through the galaxy. Piloting a spaceship, the fearless bird clucks past space mines and chases down glittering space-cash diamonds.
“Each successful move raises the potential payout, letting players decide whether they should cash out their winnings or hold their nerve in an attempt to dodge more cosmic debris to score even bigger rewards.”
Elsewhere within Flutter, the company appointed Stefan Bomhard to its board of directors as a Non-Executive Director, bringing in senior executive experience from across multiple industries, specifically consumer brands.
