BetMGM Casino is demonstrating its vision of IPs and branded slots through two major new partnerships.
The operator is bringing TV royalty to the reels, as it has announced a partnership with the London-based studio, Atlantic Digital for the debut of a slot themed on the TV show Friends.
Titled Friends: ‘The One With the Multi Drop’, the show’s main characters – Ross and Monica Geller, Chandler Bing, Joey Tribbiani, Phoebe Buffay, and Rachel Green – are all featured and the game’s setting is Monica and Rachel’s apartment, accompanied by an instrumental version of the theme song “I’ll Be There for You”.
The 6×5 cluster slot with medium/high volatility includes iconic “Pivot”, “How you doin’?” and “You’re my lobster” phrases for certain wins, multi drop multipliers that build during free spins, random muti drop multipliers up to x200, free spins and max wins up to x5,000.

According to BetMGM, the slot is the first official online casino game based on the iconic TV series and is available in Michigan and New Jersey, with additional markets to follow. Atlantic Digital will also develop future Friends slot titles for the operator.
Homerun
BetMGM is also looking to score a homerun, as it will be developing an exclusive Derek Jeter-themed slot as part of its multi-year partnership with the baseball legend.
Set to be the operator’s newest brand ambassador, the five-time World Series champion will participate in advertising campaigns and on digital platforms, appearing at exclusive VIP events and promoting BetMGM’s responsible gambling initiatives in the US and Canada.
BetMGM added that its Jeter-themed slot will be the first online casino game that features a current or former professional baseball player.

The five-time Gold Gloves winner first BetMGM national marketing campaign, “Legendary Plays”, is set to air on 15 July. He joins NFL legend Barry Sanders, US football star Tim Howard and NHL icon Wayne Gretzky on the operator’s brand ambassador roster.
