Vegangster steps up AI integration with MCP

Vegangster has strengthened AI integration within its platform solution through the integration of Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Coined by the AI developer Anthropic, MCP is the term used to define the standardised way that tools connect with AI apps and allow AI to understand context, retrieve data and perform actions. For example, how Anthropic’s AI assistant Claude can gain context from an application such as Google Drive.

Transitioning this to iGaming, Vegangster said that the integration will allow the firm to standardise how AI agents interact with its platform systems across different facets, removing the need for separate integrations.

For example, partners can use AI agents to resolve player support queries or use prompts to filter player lists, review performance figures and adjust configurations.

Michael Oziransky, Chief Product Officer at Vegangster, commented: “AI agents interacting with the platform mark a fundamental shift. What we are seeing now are just the most obvious use cases.

“The real value of MCP is in its flexibility. This opens the door to entirely new ways of operating and building on top of the platform. We are proud to be the first to bring this to iGaming.”

According to Vegangster, the integration is currently in beta. However, wider availability is planned in the near future.

Last month, Vegangster’s Chief Executive Officer, Max Chertkov, detailed his belief to iGaming Expert that AI will become a ‘core operational layer in modern casinos’

He said: “By responding instantly and operating around the clock, AI reduces friction at key moments in the player journey. This consistency helps maintain activity and supports longer player lifecycles without requiring constant expansion of support teams.”

Despite this, Chertkov caveated that human judgment is still essential for non-standard and disputed cases.

“An escalation model is the best way to go: leave the first level to the AI, and then have your human team take over when solutions are needed,” he added.
