Florian Klimka, Vyking CPO, chats to iGaming Expert following the platform provider’s agreement with games studio Yggdrasil. The deal will see Yggdrasil content available for operators using the Vyking solution and helps operators accelerate their launch time.

iGaming Expert: Why is this deal significant for Vyking as you build momentum in 2026?

Florian Klimka: This games aggregation partnership with Yggdrasil is an important milestone for Vyking. It strengthens our content offering with one of the industry’s most recognised game portfolios, including YGG Masters titles, now available to operators powered by Vyking across Europe, Asia, and Africa. The partnership also reinforces our aggregation strategy and supports a strong pipeline of additional high-quality content integrations planned for 2026.

iGX: How will Yggdrasil content boost the offering of the Vyking platform?

FK: Yggdrasil adds a comprehensive range of established, high-performing casino games alongside a consistent pipeline of new releases. Operators gain access to a decade of slot innovation supported by content from more than 20 YGG Masters studios. This enhances the depth and quality of the Vyking games portfolio and strengthens the overall player offering across multiple regulated markets.

iGX: Why did Vyking choose to work with Yggdrasil?

FK: Yggdrasil is widely recognised for delivering reliable, high-quality content with strong market appeal. Their portfolio of proven titles and ongoing release cadence aligns closely with Vyking’s focus on offering operators trusted content from leading suppliers, making this a natural fit within our aggregation ecosystem.

iGX: Could you explain the thinking behind offering ready-to-go content within the Vyking platform, and how this fits into your wider aggregation strategy?

FK: The strategy is about accelerating launch timelines while ensuring operators go live with a competitive content mix from day one. Ready-to-go content reduces complexity at launch and gives operators immediate access to proven titles that support early traction and growth.

At the same time, our role as an aggregator goes beyond simply providing content. Vyking Aggregation acts as a central pillar of an operator’s content strategy, combining high-quality games with the product and intelligence infrastructure needed to support long-term performance. This allows operators to start with a strong aggregation foundation while retaining a clear path to deeper content control and differentiation as they scale.

iGX: Does this show that new operators value readily packaged platforms with as much content as possible?

FK: Yes, we’re seeing new operators place real value on platforms that offer immediate access to a strong aggregation layer, particularly at launch. A broad mix of proven content helps operators compete from day one, attract players quickly, and build credibility in competitive markets.

However, operators are also becoming more selective. It’s no longer just about volume, but about having the right games deployed in a way that drives performance, visibility, and long-term commercial impact. This is where the tools around the content become critical. Operators want aggregation platforms that help them promote, optimise, and measure content performance, ensuring aggregation actively supports retention, player value, and sustainable growth.

iGX: What does this agreement tell us about Vyking’s plans for 2026, and how will it help get the year off to a fast start?

FK: This agreement reinforces our focus on building a strong, curated aggregation layer through partnerships with established, high-quality content providers. Starting 2026 with Yggdrasil already live on the platform gives operators immediate access to proven content and sets a clear benchmark for the types of integrations we are prioritising. It also reflects the direction of our aggregation roadmap, with further carefully selected studio partnerships planned throughout the year.

iGX: So, what’s next for Vyking?

FK: We’re continuing to strengthen our product portfolio by expanding our aggregation with more high-quality content, while also going beyond content alone by giving operators stronger tools to drive performance and differentiation. A major milestone will be the rollout of our retention system across all partners, enabling operators to sustain high player engagement through an integrated bonus engine, cashback functionality, gamification mechanics, and a growing suite of engagement features embedded directly within the aggregation layer.

Vyking Aggregation is designed to be far more than a content delivery solution. It empowers operators to actively engage players, optimise retention, and generate meaningful insights into player behaviour, transforming aggregation into a strategic growth platform rather than a standalone content layer.

iGX: Is the team exhibiting at ICE?

FK: Yes, Vyking will be exhibiting at ICE Barcelona. It’s always a great opportunity to meet operators, partners, and suppliers face to face. We’ll be at Stand 1B02, where the team will be sharing more about our aggregation roadmap and the direction of the platform.

Anyone attending ICE is welcome to stop by or book a meeting in advance via vyking.com.
