INSTASOFT: becoming a household name in iGaming tech

Setting out to change the mindset of an entire industry is certainly not an easy feat by any means, but that is exactly the mission statement that is driving INSTASOFT forward.

Following a recent showcase of a turnkey platform that it vows is fast, secure and scalable from day one, the company is awash with optimism that 2026 will be a truly breakthrough year.

In conversation with iGaming Expert, CEO, Boyan Todorov, breaks down the primary difficulties in entering such an ambitious but ruthless landscape, how differentiation will be achieved, the geographies that are set to be targeted and what he hopes to achieve through the coming months.

iGaming Expert: As a relatively new entrant into the space, did you find it daunting to enter a landscape that is awash with such fierce competition?

Boyan Todorov: Daunting is not the word I would use. For us, entering a highly competitive market was a challenge – and an incredibly motivating one. 

When you have a clear plan, a defined strategy, and strong belief in what you are building, competition does not intimidate you. It energises you.

The competition pushed us forward. We studied the market closely, identified where the gaps were, and built INSTASOFT around a simple question: how do we do this better, faster, and smarter?

That mindset is embedded in our culture. Competition is not a threat for us – it is fuel.

We also entered the market at a moment of real opportunity. 

Operators were raising the bar – demanding faster deployment, more flexible architecture, and payment infrastructure built for the modern player. We built InstaSoft to exceed exactly those expectations.

iGX: What did you find were the major challenges encountered during this time, and what processes were put in place to best overcome these?

BT: The most significant challenge was time. In iGaming platform development, timelines are everything – delays translate directly into lost market opportunities and accumulating costs. From day one, we made a deliberate decision to build differently.

We assembled highly experienced, industry-proven teams and established a culture of direct,  fast communication. There are no lengthy approval chains, no bureaucratic bottlenecks. 

If something needed a decision, it was made immediately. Meetings are frequent and outcome-driven. Updates are pushed in real time across the entire project.

This allows us to avoid what I call the ‘big company disease’ – the slow, layered communication structures that cause large organisations to stagnate. By building from scratch and shaping the team ourselves, we are able to embed speed not just as a process, but as a core value. 

That agility becomes one of our most important competitive advantages, and it is something we protect carefully as we grow.

We also made early decisions around the technology stack that pays off significantly. By choosing a cloud-native architecture from day one, we avoid the technical debt that slows down so many platforms when they try to scale. 

Everything is built to be modular, meaning new features, integrations, and market-specific requirements can be deployed without disrupting live operations.

iGX: What qualities do you possess that means you stand out from the crowd rather than just being another face that blends in?

BT: Several things, but I will focus on what I believe are the most differentiated. Speed to market is an obvious one. We can take an operator live in a minimum of seven days. That is not a marketing claim – it is an architectural capability built into the platform from the ground up.

The platform is fully integrated with casino, sportsbook, and poker operated within a single unified system. Operators do not need to stitch together separate providers for each vertical. 

With access to over 240 casino content providers, a fully customisable sportsbook covering pre-match and live markets, and a complete poker solution, the entire product suite is available from day one under one roof.

But beyond speed, the quality that most distinguishes us is our crypto-native foundation. We built the platform with crypto and blockchain at its core from the very beginning. 

This includes our own proprietary crypto wallet, multi-currency support across both crypto and fiat, and importantly – the introduction of our own token that we believe represents the next generation of player engagement.

The logic here is compelling: traditional loyalty programmes keep players engaged for a withdrawal cycle. Token-based loyalty changes the dynamic entirely. 

When a player’s in-platform activity translates into tokenised assets with genuine market value – assets that can be staked for passive rewards, traded on external exchanges, or used as governance votes in platform decisions – you are no longer just running a casino. 

You are building a player economy. Wagers become economic activity. Achievements have real value outside the platform. That is a fundamentally different proposition, and it is one we are excited to bring to market.

iGX: When it comes to markets that are on your radar, where can we expect InstaSoft to target and why?

BT: Our current focus spans four key regions: Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia — and we are actively working towards becoming as global as possible. 

Our platform is built to be flexible with adapting to the regulatory, payment, and product requirements of any market we enter. 

iGX: January saw the launch of your turnkey iGaming platform, which is said to vastly differ from many alternatives that are currently available. How is this so? What are the key functionalities of the solution?

BT: The clearest differentiator is time-to-market. Standard platform builds take twelve months or more. InstaSoft gets an operator live in seven to fourteen days. That is a structural shift in how fast an operator can start generating revenue.

The second differentiator is our payment architecture. Payments are arguably the most critical of iGaming today. Operators lose revenue to chargebacks, high processing fees, failed transactions, and delayed settlements. 

Players wait days for withdrawals – and slow withdrawals are one of the primary reasons players switch platforms. One of the platform’s strongest features is the crypto payment processing we have built. 

It helps us move away from complex payment structures, with everything happening extremely fast. The platform handles crypto and fiat simultaneously, with the infrastructure to support fast, reliable settlements across both.

The product suite itself is comprehensive. Casino, sportsbook, and poker are all fully functional and available from launch – not as modular add-ons to be integrated later, but as native components of the platform. 

The sportsbook covers pre-match and live markets with advanced trading tools. The casino connects to over 240 providers. The poker product is fully operational. Operators get a complete, market-ready product on day one.

We will be revealing further details on our upcoming ‘future-ready’ player engagement mechanics in the coming months including developments in the tokenisation space that we believe will genuinely shift how operators think about long-term player retention.

iGX: What are the future ambitions of InstaSoft when it comes to progress through 2026?

BT: 2026 is about growth across every dimension. We will continue to expand into new markets, with particular focus on the regions we discussed. 

We are investing heavily in product innovation – new features, deeper crypto and blockchain functionality, and the full rollout of our token-based player engagement system.

Brand visibility is also a major priority. We will be present at the major industry events throughout the year – ICE, SBC Summit, and others – because visibility at that level sends a clear signal: InstaSoft is not a startup finding its feet. We are a serious technology partner ready to scale with operators who share our ambition.

The ambition is clear: to establish InstaSoft as a globally recognised name in iGaming technology.
